Guest northamuk
Why move it? it is a feature of some pretty nasty sites to hijack you Homepage. there is a free downlod to prevent this, it might be home page Guard or something similar, I forget the addy, try a search on Google. Guest moon
Yes, Mark's right, Shirley. Spybot has a 'Lock Homepage' feature and it can also prevent IE from running from within. Incidentally, I just ran the Spybot 'immunize' and it added over a hundred new baddies.
mmanya
do keep in mind that if you do use Spybot & specifically the Immunize feature, and suddenly develop any "problems" ( such as certain sites are being blocked) you will have to remove that feature. I know of a pc running XP that added immunize and it was having certain game sites blocked ... as usual live & learn !
Guest whizwrinkly
Try 'Browser Hijack Blaster' from Wilders.(free) :)
Guest whizwrinkly
Sorry, already been mentioned. <_<
Redhat
Instead of browser hijack blaster, I reccomend a product by Javacool that does the same and more. And it does it better, according to him! Spyware Blaster alerts you to a homepage change, and spyware. And definitions are updated too.http://www.javacoolsoftware.com
