Windows Forum Icon

benb - cannot open your URL - all I get is a red cross in a small box.

Also - I don't know what your sequence of numbers means.

I have done quite a lot of googling today before finding a free programme that converts bmp files to ico files.

I have now copied the WF logo and produced an icon on the desktop which is working fine.

Stand down you chaps - problem solved.

I cannot give up right now :P

My URL is an icon image. Internet Explorer cannot view icon files within the browser. Firefox can.

My sequence of numbers is the size of the icon. The popular sizes of icons are

256x256

128x128

48x48

32x32

24x24

16x16

Those are the dimensions in pixels of the icon that I have uploaded.

But now that the problem was solved... I don't know where I'm going with this.

The Windows flag icon was ripped from the Vista (either build

5342 or 5365) files. I *would* give you it as an .ico (256x256) but due to a mistaken deletion, the file is gone  If I do find it somewhere (possibly a backup?) I will be sure to PM you.
