leSLIe
i had a problem with a virus, so i end up with windows problems; so i deleted everything but the directories that have documents from the different accounts that my pc have, then i physically removed the hard drive and put it in another pc, but now i get the "access denied" when i try to access any of those directoriesIm on the administrator account and the files are not encrypted, so how can i access those files? WF Support Account
Since you can see the drive, you need permissions to access it. You must access the drive through another drive with ntfs installed otherwise you will not get a security tab. Another reason you will not get the security tab will be because your not the default administrator. To be the default admin press cntl + alt + del twice at your logon screen to get to the old logon then as a username use "administrator" with probably a blank password or your admin pass. You must be admin as far as I know and you must have the correct password and a valid account on the drive.
