Angel Gonzalez Posted June 15, 2006 Report Share Posted June 15, 2006 I am practicing modding with my computer after my retirement as consequence changed many motherboards, graphic cards and HD which I damaged overclocking or learning the last four years..lately, may 24, I validated my windows xp profesional by maybe twenty times by phone and worked fine; however two days ago this error message oubreaks in my screen "your program is not original" and the messenger didnt works also the validation was lossed.I bougth this xp in the best store in San Jose, COMPUAMERSA, for years ago and I have my invoice as consequense called them aboutb the software error as not original but they explain is that xp had limitation in the number of validation to be do it.It is true and I must to buy another copy or the problem could be solved.çI appreciate your help. If your explanation is reasonable and within the Windows EULA you will be given a new product key. -pops- Posted June 16, 2006 Report Share Posted June 16, 2006 There are restrictions on the number of automatic online activations you can do - depending also on the changes to hardware and software that have been made. By activating by telephone you can explain to Microsoft what has been done and why you need to activate again - this is something a computer activation cannot understand - that just follows the rules.
