Snurd
Does one need to install 1 if you're going to install 2 anyway? Thanks.
-pops-
Hello and welcome to Windows Forum. To answer your question:No. All the items of SP1 are included with SP2.(Note: no questions are stupid. You asked because you didn't know and we're always happy to pass on information that we may have and that you don't.)

Who knew? Others questions are not stupid, but mine... I dunno.
Scarecrow Man
That's a reasonable question. The fact is Service Pack 2 or SP2 actually includes ALL SP1 updates, plus any new updates since then.A Service Pack is simply all updates released since the last service pack (or original release) wraped into one package for easy installation.Rather than installing 50+ updates individually, you can install 1 Service Pack.
