raitzin
I just bought a monitor that requires a 1680x1050 @ 60Hz for optimum performance. Windows settings don't go that high. Any suggestions on how to get there? My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200.Thanks a lot! I appreciate the help!

I appreciate the help!Even though my monitor runs perfectly well without drivers, it came with a CD containing drivers. With these drivers installed I can right click on the desktop and go to Properties/Settings/Advanced/Monitor, and change the setting there. It is best to click on the box that says "Hide settings that this monitor cannot display".
Scarecrow Man
Also, if your video card does not support that resolution, it will not allow you to go that high. From what you've given, the FX5200 goes to 2048 x 1536, but there are several different models. You might want to install the latest drivers from http://www.nvidia.com as well as andosme suggests, your monitor drivers.
