gordythegouge Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 Well, Well,the ref in the England/Portugal game must really have excelled himself, because......for his sterling efforts to advertise the benefits of Specsavers to one and all..........he has been rewarded by being given charge of the Final itself!!!! What a guy!!! I take it there will now be a rush of Lemming proportions by those of you in England who watched the game and wondered if you were actually seeing the same game as the Ref........to the nearest opticians? I don't think I'll bother.........I wasn't too far off seeing the same game as the man in black anyway.........I mean.....FIFA couldn't possibly appoint a duffer to the Final.....could they? I don't want to stir things up......but............................(Heh, Heh)!PS. Bring it on....I'm wearing full Combat gear, NBC Suit,Gas Mask and Riot gear for full measure!
