gnasher Posted July 9, 2006 Report Share Posted July 9, 2006 I'm trying to remove a driver for a phatom virtual drive MX2I52G3 VHK130J SCSI CdRom Device (sic) from Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager DVD/CD-ROM Drives > where I uninstall it but on reboot and rechecking device manager it has been installed again. The drive doesn't appear in My Computer because I have removed it from Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Storage > Disc Management > Selecting the drive, right clicking > Change Drive Letter and Paths... > Remove. It also is still listed under disc management after I remove and also after a reboot. Previous to my actions described I unmounted all drives and disabled all virtual drives in all of the virtual drive emulation software packages I had installed and then I uninstalled them. The packages I was using were Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%, ISObuster PowerISO and Nero 7. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
