KevinInPA
Using Windows XP, something won't let me unmute (I can check uncheck the Mute box but it aways reverts to being muted). As a result there is no sound activity. Can anyone suggest a fix?

nellie2
Do you have a sound card or is it onboard sound? If yes, which chipset?
KevinInPA
On board...sis 7012...i believe. Is there a way to confirm this?
nellie2
Belarc Advisor should be able to tell you which chipset you have... I would then make sure that you have the most recent drivers for it
