Hotmail in UK

I have asked this before of anyone in England.

Cant find where I posted it though but obviously no one replied

I am having terrible problems getting thru to my sister in England.

she uses Hotmail - why - beats me.

Anyway keep getting back my emails.

Hers get thru - but maybe not as she is a bit vague.

I have done all the necessary - like checking my end and mine go thru to everyone else and back to me on testing. I use Incredimail.

Is there a problem with Hotmail?

I remember your post regarding Hotmail - I replied to it, as did several others.

My view was (and still is) that Hotmail is far from being the best web based email system. It gets loaded with spam and all sorts of other undesirable and unwanted stuff. It can also be unreliable in losing messages or delivering them late. I feel that Hotmail is a victim of its own success and, having become one of the biggest (if not the biggest) email client, it no longer cares.

I suggested that your sister change to something more reliable like Yahoo mail, g-mail or any of a load of others all of which are crying out for business.

I gave up with Hotmail years ago. Never missed it. I keep the account open and check in the mailbox periodically where there are thousands and thousands of rubbish messages waiting for me.

I replied as well, recently anyone including myself using Hotmail cannot send to our Telefonica address`s, so I assume there is a problem at Hotmail.

I have also heard of several people having problems with Incredimail.

Thanks Guys - I didnt get an email so am lax - smacka my posterior

She has now said she is saving money by doing away with her dial up and going to the local library. Just having bought herself a new tower - begs belief B)

I looked up dial up and it is around same as here 4.90 month and we have some less than that.

Also I sent her info of free internet like freeisp.co.uk at cost of 0844 number whatever that is. Local call here is 30cents - a dollar is worth around 44pence today.

But of course it all came back by this auto delivery service - can bounce hers back but not mine.

I have had no problems with Incredimail but cant get thru on Outlook either.

Sooner or later she will wake up to me not sending and ring me - as I have also found she has changed her number and gone silent.

She's having problems with her youngest daughter so a bit het up. Life with a 40 year old daughter who rushed back home divorced and then found another bloke and moved him in too is not the best. When you are in your golden years isnt it supposed to be fun?
