Seshomaru Samma Posted July 22, 2006 Report Share Posted July 22, 2006 I have two questions:1) I never used Windows Media Player but lately my wife wants to use it to listen to radio , the thing is that I can't find it anywhere, no desktop icon and not in the start menu or in programme files (theres WMP there but no way to launch it). The only way I can get it to run is by right clicking on a music file and choosing 'open with'. I'm sure there's an easier way , like a command or something...2) Is there a way to create a short cut to a radio station on WMP, my wife wants to listen to Japan:J-WAVE 81,3 FM which she found through the search function on Windows Media Player radio option. Can I make a short cut to this station so she doesnt have to go through the search procedure everytime she wants to listen? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted July 22, 2006 Report Share Posted July 22, 2006 Windows Media Player is on the Start/Programs folder at the end (not in a folder, but directly as a shortcut).You can add it (J-Wave) to 'My Stations' and select it directly from there. andsome Posted July 22, 2006 Report Share Posted July 22, 2006 You can also go to Start/ Search/ then type Windows media player and select All files and folders. You will get several entries. Double click on one at a time until the program opens, then close it again and right click on the line that gave the result, and select Create a shortcut. I couldn't find it on the start menu because a long time ago I cleaned the start menu from applications that I dont use . I put the shortcut in a special file called "unused applications" which I forgot about . When I ran Start/search I found it again . :lol: Thank you....
