I think that I can boot floppies and i have about 12 free floppies to use. Are there any programs to make this possible?Any help would be great. Boris Posted August 9, 2006 Report Share Posted August 9, 2006 Normally, you get a message on screen while its booting up ?e.g. Select Delete to enter Setup (sometimes its F2)Hold this key down when booting and it should take you into the BIOS.One of the options there is your Boot orderChange the order of booting from what you currently have to CD : HD : Floppy Save this when you exit the BIOS and you should then be able to boot from a bootable CD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted August 9, 2006 Report Share Posted August 9, 2006 I don't think Win98 CD-ROMs were bootable (but I could be wrong).Also, not all WinXP CD-ROMs are bootable (e.g. Dell's WinXP versions are not).If yours are not, then you will have to make Windows boot floppy disks (1 for Win98, 4 for WinXP).
