mark2 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Share Posted June 24, 2003 Don't think they are the same, my USB hd came with a certfied USB 2 cable, but a usb1 will still carry the data / fit the port etc, may even operate at USB2 speed but no guarantee that it will run at USB2 speed.
