Nope, .........I really don't see a pattern here to justify

profiling, do you? So, to ensure democratic western Christian

civilisation never offends anyone - particularly fanatics intent on

killing us - airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to

profile (or target)certain people. They must only conduct random

searches of 80-year-oldwomen, people in wheelchairs, little kids,

airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents

who are members of the U.S.President's security detail, 85-year old

World War II veterans with metal hips, and Boy Scout groups. They

must never "target" a heavily tanned 17 to 40 year old male who

appears to have a suspicious package tied around his body. This would

be unjustified discrimination!

My point is that you can't just target one type of person. We live in crazy times and our security should be tightened to such an extent as to treat everyone as a potential threat. To further alienate just one small part of our community will only serve to heighten tensions, distrust and hatred. This only plays into the hands of those that want us to fear and hate a certain type so that they can continue to empire build.

1997 - In total the IRA (Probably 17-40 year old males) killed 5 British soldiers, 3 RUC men, 2 British civilians, and 1 Garda. Since 2004, how many have been killed in Britain by 17-40 year old Muslim males?

I am not saying we shouldn't be more watchfull at our airports, but that we shouldn't restrict ourselves to one group of people.

I think you are right Sir T. but if I remember rightly we did target Irish people at that time though obviously it was a more difficult exercise. If I also remember rightly the USA also targeted them but for praise rather than condemnation. I believe they know better now.

Yep, we tried to target them, but all white Irishmen look the same so it wasn't very effective. How is it easier to spot a Muslim fanatic though

We need to tighten security across the board and more importantly, stop aiding and abetting those nations that revel in creating the terrorist cause. As much as injecting a billion squid into airport security would be welcome, I'd rather we stop spending far more billions while playing hand puppet to the true creators of our current plight.
