Dyson

Whilst craig had killed the site and prevented me having my evening fix I was surfing around and happened upon the Dyson website. Have a look here http://www.dyson.co.uk/colourmydyson/default.asp and you can get 'em to donate some money to CLIC which I think is worth doing even if you don't get the fun of coloring in...thats just a bonus!

Anyway...whilst there decided to see if I could find out why the Dyson wasn't doing much picking up when my lovely housemates (all girls  ) used it. Found a nice pdf manual that told me how to take it to bits (ah a mans world!) and so I did. There was more dust in its bits than in our whole house..and thats a lot! Cleaned it up and hey presto it works :)

So let that be a lesson to you all, next time the site is offline go and do something to keep the lady(s) in your life happy

Craig you have a lot to answer for!

Nel. There was a song about that a few years back. Can't remember all the words but it was very catchy at the time. Went something like -

Come on a my house, my house come on.

Could have been by Rosemary Clooney or is my age peeping out under my nightshirt?

Sir Rad.......... I regularly take my Dyson to bits and put it back together again, but that's not the point....... you are so industrious in a small amount of downtime. Me...... I clicked here and there.......wandered off and made myself a coffee.....changed my mind and poured a glass of wine.......blah blah blah. :D

Doug.......... what ever it is that is peeping out from under your nightshirt...... tuck it back in and we won't tell anyone!!

we had a dyson, it broke, took it back to the shop to find that the model we had was no longer made and we didn't have the money to upgrade to the newer one. We got an electrolux cyclone things and to be honest it sucks!!!

But don't all hoovers??

Honestly though, there is no comparison and as soon as this thing decides to break a nice shiny new dyson will be sitting in my cupboard again!!

You should - they are excellent.

We picked one up at a large discount for my brother in law. With his permission we tried it out before delivering it to him. My wife found it very heavy and difficult to push due to arthritis in her hands, so we have stuck with our old steam driven machine. BEFORE ANYONE SAYS THE OBVIOUS, DON'T

What you got the P75 down from the loft, set the fans going to full and let it collect the dust for you!? I'm amazed, even Mr Dyson didn't think of something that good :P

andsome.....perhaps you're thinking of that firm who canvass door to door, tell you you have won a prize, then send someone around to demonstrate their vacuum cleaner? They spend ages in your house trying to sell you a cleaner that weighs a ton and costs a fortune.

Can't think of their name now.
