tho Posted September 15, 2006 Report Share Posted September 15, 2006 When I try to open My Computer or any folders on the desktop the explorer shell ends, all the desktop icons and the taskbar dissapears, then everything reappears.. I can't open Internet Explorer either, Right now I'm using MSN Explorer..This started happening after logging off and logging into another account on my computer, but it happens on both accounts.. Just insert your XP CD, and type the following into the run prompt (or if you have no taskbar, do: crtl+alt+del and go to file > new task (run)):sfc /scannowIf you are on Windows 98, 95 or ME, the process is different.
