It was telling me to download and install an anti virus program that was 'recommended' by Microsoft. The link I was given downloaded a particularly nasty trojan :(More info in my blog if you are interested... suffice to say, Microsoft will never ever email you personally about this sort of thing! I know I have subscribed to these things, and I know if such a note is genuinely from Microsoft.
