Auto screen refresh

lol, "refresh now" in task manager is to refresh the currently running applications, performance graph, network card usage or users connected depending on what tab your under.

if your refering to that just turn down the the refresh latency.

if you want to increase the screen rate, you can always go into the display settings > advanced > monitor. Refresh rate > (appropriate, Supported setting).

other than that, i have no clue why you would want to increase your refresh rate. all it does looknig at your desktop is give your monitor and video card one hell of a work out.

Aha thanks for spotting my deliberate mistake. I have a database system that gets updated frequently. I display the info on a plasma screen for users via another pc, but this does not keep in step with the frequent changes, so I need to refresh the data. Not web based. If I press F5 it does the trick, but I'm not going to keep pressing F5 so want to automate it. My mistake was to call it task manager, when I meant task scheduler (under control panel in XP). Can I use it to somehow to frequently refresh the application ?
