How to remove half installed Windows

I have already installed windows xp by mistake I started instalation once again so I stopped it half way in instalation and now I have one fully installed windows XP and another one Half Installed.

When ever I start my PC it asks me to select in between the above mentioned two I would like to remove the Half Installed windows xp kindly advice on this

Not done this with XP but, on an earlier version of Windows where this happened it was possible to boot into the completed version, search for the part version using My Computer and delete it. The problem is that the MBR of the part version will most likely remain behind and you will still be stuck with a request on bootup for which version you want to open, even though there is only one there.

The best (easiest) way to do it is by a clean install of Windows - after backing up any files and folders that you wish to keep. You could search about in the Registry for errant files but it's a dangerous place for the inexperienced or unsure.
