-pops- Posted October 14, 2006 Report Share Posted October 14, 2006 Something has recently turned off parts of my AVG antivirus such that it didn't auto-update or do its daily scan. I found that this was associated with an non-permitted turning on of Windows Firewall.I turned Windows Firewall off and now everything is back to normal again but I get damned irritated when things happen without my knowledge or permission.Why should Windows Firewall affect my antivirus?
