nVidia card not receiving sufficent power?

Recommended Posts

I got this message on startup-

Problem Report

"The nvidia System Sentinel is reporting that the NVIDIA-powered graphics card is not receiving sufficient power".

"To protect your hardware from potential damage or causing a potential lockup, the graphics processor has lowered its performance to a level that allows continued safe operations"

Anyone know why this has happened or what i have to do to fix it? thanks

You should be able to see the rating of the PSU on its case inside the computer or on the written specification/invoice of the computer.

If you can give us more details about your computer we might be able to find out if there is nothing that you have that gives it.
