andsome
My digital photo's are all saved to a folder on C Drive with a backup on D Drive. The images are all fine and always have been. What puzzles me however is that each image is repeated by a miniature with a squiggly line in the front of the image number. What is the purpose of these seemingly useless miniatures, and can I safely right click and delete. them? All these images are also saved to a CD, and these daft little images are also there, and just fill the CD up.
catgate
I used to get a similar thing with my address book. If I added to it, or altered it in any way, I used to get a file on my desktop with a squiggle (or 'tild' as I believe the techies call it). I could, by subtle manipulation read it, using an old DOS based programme, and it turned out to be the old address book, prior to editing.May be you have something similar going on. andsome
This has occurred ever since I have used a digital camera. I have never before thought to look into why.
