leroytrolley
I've got a Acer Ferrari laptop and I've had it for about 7 months now. My power pack keeps switching itself off after 5 mins. I then disconect it for 30 secs and then reconnect and it works again. It then turns itself off after 5 mins and so on and so on. I'm keeping it cool by blasting it with a fan so I know its not getting too hot, but does anybody know of any other problem that it may be experiencing??Leroy
AlanHo
I think there is a component inside the power pack that is faulty and causing the supply interruptions. My guess is that you will need to replace the unit - repairs often cost more than a new one.
-pops-
Use your statutory rights to get the item either replaced or repaired. It should not do this after such a short period.
nellie2
To answer your question, no... there is no such thing as a power pack virus. Do as -pops- and AlanHo have suggested and get it replaced. It's faulty
