This would be good if you can....

Good grief boys and girls (?) those pics are a bit big aren't they!

Before someone elses ask, the reson why you now have to scroll left and right as well as up and down is that the image is wider than your screen. Whilst the site can wrap text it can't wrap an image.

As for text under the image the only way you can do that is to use the IMG tags (see the buttons above the text box). You then need to have the image else where on the net (your person webspace for example). The tag goes in the text with the source of the image in it so you can then type under it as shown here

logo.gif

And now I can type under it.

For those that want to know the code used was:

 [ IMG ] [URL=http://www.adop63.care4free.net/logo.gif]http://www.adop63.care4free.net/logo.gif[/URL] [ /IMG ]

with the spaces taken out.

And one other thing, if you do find you've put a massive image in (by mistake?) you can click the edit button and change it HINT HINT!!

There is no reason why you wouldn't be able to add a sound file in any one of the three ways you can an image:

HTML source code

File Attachment

And perhaps the IMG bit would also work.

Can I however suggest we think carefully before we do it? If you attach the file it has to go somewhere. A pointless sound file is going to take up space on a server somewhere, its going to increase the bandwidth of the site and run the risk of making this site more expensive to maintain.

If you do want to post a soundfile then my suggestion (as a humble poster!) would be to create a link either to the source else where on the net or sort out some basic hosting for yourself (most ISP's give you something). That way, this site stays clean and doesn't get too big.

I doubt anyone here has the money that PCA have to spend on a site and if they have money problems... :(
