Keyboard causes system crash

my keyboard is a Logitech Internet 350 [black version]

i never had any problems with this since a few days ago: when i press a hotkey, my system crashes.

i already installed the driver from the included cd. {Setpoint}

i also tried using a newer version of the drivers: no difference.

the hotkeys are automatically configured...

would unplugging it and reinstalling it work to make it work again?

[im going to my local computer store to have them have a look at it...]

please help

I have a Logitech cordless mouse and Keyboard, and that goes do-lally every now and then, and to fix it I just uninstall setpoint and re install it, It works without setpoint but some of the special buttons on the keyboard and mouse don't work.

I have an Asus MB as well.

doesnt matter, windows crashes on all: volume up, down, off, play media, start media player, start email, start IE, start calculator

but by using my first restore point i got it all back to working agian...

ive had to install much software again, but everything goes smooth now...

it still remains a mysterie what caused this...

i really want to find it out, before i get it again...
