Sounds like its release is Jan 30 and it will probably be on shelves early Febuary. Look at the Home basic features, its ridiculous. I'm definitely not buying Vista. You don't even get the Aero interface, Flip 3d or remote desktop? Vista Premium doesn't even get remote desktop or backup features? They want you to pay for stuff you get for basically free in xp. If you don't believe that page, heres Microsoft's, its just about the same with more fluff. Check out the details of Home Basic. Looks like all you get new is search features. :lol: I could probably download a few freeware programs and be ahead.
