bassaction Posted December 5, 2006 Report Share Posted December 5, 2006 Backed up programs.Now I am trying to restore,but it won`t recognize them.Last time I did this there was a patch for it.This was a while ago so I don`t remember.Does anybody know anything about this??Thanks in advance!! ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted December 6, 2006 Report Share Posted December 6, 2006 Windows Backup creates .bkf files - compressed backup files. When you want to restore, you need to restore the files from these .bkf files. You can either double-click on the latest .bkf file, which will open the Windows Backup program, from where you can restore selected files. Or you can do it the other way around: open the Windows Backup program, then select the latest (or earlier; whatever) backup file for restore.
