Chris Posted December 6, 2006 Report Share Posted December 6, 2006 Bought this little bag of tricks the other day for my Sister for crimbo....ToshyIntel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5500 | 1.66GHz1GB [DDR 2 533MHz]80GB 5400 HDDIntel® 945GM Express chipsetDVD+/-RW(DL) Drive4USB Ports...blah ...blah!Quite impressed with it and more than she needs, but it's a cracker There is a switch on the side for the WLAN, didn't see it at first and spent 20 minutes trying to get the thing to connect to the wireless... There was a Toshiba Rep. at PCW and I asked her does it come with restore disks. She said yes but came back 10 minuntes later to tell me that someone from PCW said it does not come with resore disks but comes with a recovery partition. Wasn't bothered as long as it could be restored. Turns out SHE WAS RIGHT it does come with a restore DVD. Made a copy of that and all the drivers on the C: drive just in case.
