deuces wild
I have just hooked up my new 19" LCD monitor. It came with 2 cable connections to the desktop, including a DVI cable which was listed as optional. The instruction manual did not explain the benefits of using this cable. Is there an advantage? If so, do I still connect both cables to the desktop or just the DVI?TIA!
AlanHo
You should get a better display with the DVI (digital) rather than the analogue connection because the monitor does not have to convert the analogue signal to its native digital. You only need the one cable connected.
