deuces wild
http://www.azfamily.com/news/local/stories...r.2a7a0a6.html#A Valley woman was arrested Monday night and accused of child endangerment after allegedly leaving her sleeping child in the car while she shopped at Scottsdale Fashion Square. According to Scottsdale police, Gardenia Johansson pulled up to Neiman Marcus at about 3 p.m. Monday and asked a valet attendant to watch her car. When the attendant asked Johansson where the vehicle was, she pointed to a black 2002 BMW and began to walk away. While walking away, Johansson, who is allegedly a Montessori school teacher, reportedly said to the attendant, "My baby's in there." The attendant asked Johansson if she just said there was a baby in the car and she reportedly said yes and asked him if she thought it was wrong. The attendant replied he thought it was wrong. Johansson then reportedly walked into the store carrying a small dog. The attendant went over to the car and noticed a small child sleeping in the back seat. Not knowing what to do, the attendant called his mother, who recommended he call security or police. He contacted security, who in turn called Scottsdale police. The child should be taken away from this idiot.
-pops-
It's a long time since I've been surprised at the stupidity/selfishness/crass idiocy of some of my fellows. This is just one instance - there will be others, there is no doubt. :(
AlanHo
There is possibly a plausible explanationPerhapsShe had a dog and a baby with her. It would be dangerous to leave an unattended dog with a baby, and she could not carry both to the shops, so she had to leave either the dog, or the baby in the car, and carry the other one.If she had left the dog behind - it would possibly have trashed the car. The baby could not damage the car so that's how she made her choiceSimple but stupid Eh...? ;)
