When I run ..

The Secunia Software Inspector .online

I get ..

Macromedia Flash Player 5.x 5.0.44.0

The detected version installed on your system is 5.0.44.0

Installed on Your System in:

D:\i386\Apps\App10224\swflash.ocx

================================================

Macromedia Flash Player 6.x 6.0.80.0

The detected version installed on your system is 6.0.80.0

Installed on Your System in:

D:\i386\Apps\App17981\comps\aol\flasha.ocx

I have updated to the latest verson..How do I get rid of these ?

I think they are in my restore files on D:

I ran the Macromedia Flash Player uninstaller but it only install my latest verson.

I still have these on my computer.

Macromedia Flash Player 5.x 5.0.44.0

I run ..

The Secunia Software Inspector .online

Enable thorough system inspection.

Navigate to :-

D:\i386\Apps\App10224\swflash.ocx

and delete that particular version of the file swflash.ocx ??

or to be extra careful ......... first rename it to swflash.ocxold

and then if a fresh Secunia scan doesn't find 5.0.44.0 but only the later 6.0.80.0 you can delete the renamed file.
