Gagaman Posted February 11, 2007 Report Share Posted February 11, 2007 A friend of me has problems playing .wmv files in windows Mediaplayer.The movies play, but not smoothly, they play for 3/4 secs... than a pause ... than play again for some sec... then a pause again ... andso on.He mailed me the files, and here they play ok.His pc is winxp pro with mediaplayer 11.This problem occured like a month or two ago. It sounds like something is using the system too high and causing it to pause to catch itself up.When playing music, press ctrl+alt+del and check the performace tab.You can also try downloading some Codecs from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm (you can install the full file, or only the audio).
