kapi-j Posted February 16, 2007 Report Share Posted February 16, 2007 hi im having a big problem with my mouse because my mouse freezes occasionally its not when i run stuff that takes a lot of my memory its just randomly its just that when i try to move it the cursor stays in one place and when i right click or something nothing happens plz helpP.S i dont use any cursor enchantments so its not because of that and when i unplug and plug my mouse in it works properly (or when i reboot) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted February 19, 2007 Report Share Posted February 19, 2007 Some more questions:when the freeze occurs, does it "unfreeze" after a while?other function, like keyboard input, work normally during that time?can you switch applications during that time (Alt-Tab) ?do you see high CPU activity during this time (Ctrl-Alt-Del) ?do you have a special mouse driver installed? (what mouse is it, exactly?)And one final question: is this something that started at some time, or has it always occurred? kapi-j Posted February 21, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 21, 2007 srry i havent been on for ages but ill try and answer some questions -my mouse does use a ball and i cleaned it-i dont get high cpu when it happens -my keyboard works when it happens-i use HID-compliant mouse thats what it says in the hardware tab in control panel under mouse-i didnt try another mouse-i havent tried switching apps at this time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
