avexhype
I am missing a lot of default XP wallpapers.....I have tried to restore them by install a .inf file, but it asked me for my XP cd rom (which I dont have) and could someone please tell me why we are asked to put in an XP cd when our PCs have already come with XP and it came with no cd? Anyways, I have the pictures on the other user accounts, just not this one.....how do I get them back?
andsome
I cannot understand how you have a computer with no CD Rom. Can you not contact the supplier and ask for one? Meantime why not try a search of Microsoft sites and see if they are available for download?
Alan2273
You say you have tried to restore them using an inf file, have you tried a system restore to before this happened?.
rong
Can't you do it by putting the restore CD in so as to point it to the partition on the hard drive?

cozofdeath
All of my wallpapers are in C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper. I think every account will have access to this folder but not the My Pictures folder of other users. So you could check C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper for the default wallpapers if its the same.
