-pops-
Hello Susan and welcome to Windows Forum. Can you explain a little more about what happens (or doesn't happen) when the system "hangs"? Is this one machine or all seven? Does it shut down? Stop responding? Do you get a blue screen? Is there anything in the Event Viewer that might give a clue? susan
hi,We face the problem in all our 7 systems. If we get that problem, we cannot switch to other windows which are already open and also not able to see Task Manager when we do Alt+Ctrl+Del.Some times very slowly, we are able to restart it, after closong one by one windows. Some other times, we need to switch off the CPU directly.I dont get a blue screen.Hope this information are useful to analyse the issue.Susan
-pops-
Any records in the Event Viewer?(Right click My Computer, click on Manage and then Event Viewer - there will be three or four sections, Application is the one that will give most information for this. Look for red crosses of yellow warning signs)
susan
Hi,Yes, I saw it. We have many Yello warnings (Antivirus, Eventsystem, Loadperf etc) and Red errors (Internet Exporer, rasctrs). But i checked this in systems which hanged today. There is no error or warning data in Event viewer, in todays date. All are only Blue information things in todays date.Expecting a reply from you POPS.Thanks

-pops-
You do seem to have a lot of errors reported there. Whilst I feel that individually they may not cause the hangings you are experiencing, the combination of errors may do.I'm not a W2K expert but the first approach I would try is to check the system files - these may assist:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/222193http://support.microsoft.com/kb/222471
Scarecrow Man
If it is occuring on all computers, I would first assume a network problem. How is your LAN setup?
