ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I was just going to reply to a post when I was redirected to http://208.101.35.208/~winforum/forums/index.php? and I had to login again. Is this due to the scheduled maintenance, or something different?Or have I just given away my Windows Forum login credentials to a phisher :D

jason.b.c
The question is , How did you try ( and succeed ) at all this yesterday when the forum was down all day...?And also , What exactly happened here now..?
-pops-
Jason, you've not been reading the news either :) The forum is now running from a new (and better) server. Certainly for us in the UK, the whole thing is much faster - it should be like that worldwide. The forum was only down about half a day while the changeover took place. It happened in the morning here so, in the US the inconvenience should hardly have been noticed at all.
andsome
Do you eat smoked salmon, andsome? That's raw fish.I love smoked salmon, but it has been through a form of cooking in hot smoke. Any parasites will have been destroyed in the process.

Certainly for us in the UK, the whole thing is much faster - it should be like that worldwide.Well , It certanly isn't any faster , as a matter of fact , i've noticed a severe decrease in the forums performance... , Very slow...and boggy...!The forum was only down about half a day while the changeover took place. It happened in the morning here so, in the US the inconvenience should hardly have been noticed at all.No , No - It was noticed here , from the first time i tried to login ( 12:00 noon ) to the last time i tried it ( around midnight ) the forum was offline... So i'm not sure how it was only a short while for you...?
