xxbrooke92 Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 i got these blank dvds, and they worked fine i burned like 3 or 4 of them, but now when i put it in nothing happens!! it does not detect my dvd!! i even bought 2 other difrent kind of dvds and still nothing!!! what do i do?!?!?! dadyassa Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 Maybe dust or fluff on the laser, try playing a music CD, I know they work on a different laser but when it spins up it may move the dust on the DVD laser. If you haven't burned that many dvds (under 1 hundred or two) and the drive isn't old I think about getting a new one unless you can't find any way to fix it or if you have the extra money. I've had this happen to me a while ago and it fixed itself or me messing around fixed it. It seems this is probably a problem of XP from the posts I've read.
