But still the problem exists. The problem is : In my office, all our systems hangs. We are not able to find out, at which point of time, it happens. But mostly we work on IE and MS Office. We use - IE 6, Windows 2000 Prof and MS Office 2003.In the Event Viewer, Application Errors, I have Errors in Internet explorer, Microsoft Office 11 and Symantec Antivirus.Hope these informations are useful to analyse the problem. Can anyone please help us?ThanksSusan
Scarecrow Man
What kind of errors do you recieve? Does every computer in the building freeze at the same time? What kind of freeze do you mean. Does the system hang and have to be shut down manually and started back up, or does the internet stop responding? susan
Whatever we were working on, stops completely. I am not able to switch between the windows opened also. Not able to work on already opened Office files and also IE stops responding. I have to either close all windows (which is a very slow process) or simply restart the system. This is quiet annoying. But our system engineer says our systems have large memory and high speed capacity ram etc etc. Any suggestions pls ? -pops-
If you click on the error reports in Event Viewer you can see in more detail what the error is and sometimes be lead to a Microsoft help page.Have you tried this?
