andsome
I have now uninstalled it. I liked the new format, but the program prevented web sites from remembering me, and I had to log on afresh at every visit.
Irene
I have now uninstalled it. I liked the new format, but the program prevented web sites from remembering me, and I had to log on afresh at every visit.Similar to CCleaner, there is a process where you can tell the program to remember the websites of your choice. I am not at home at present, but if you are still interested in installing for the 4-month trial, I will explain when I have the program to hand when I return later today. :)

-pops-
When the trial is over, does the money paid out justify the advantages the paid for version has over the free edition?
andsome
When the trial is over, does the money paid out justify the advantages the paid for version has over the free edition?I don't know that really, I suppose that it depends on the price. There seems to be a few more settings etc, but then as far as I am concerned the free version has alway been a big help in keeping my computer clean. I don't suppose that I will be paying. I just like free offers. The beta updated version as I found out is not quite right yet.
andsome
So far so good. I recommend this free trial as long as you DON'T install the BETA updates. Leave that to those who like messing about with Beta products.
Irene
andsome, did you manage to sort out how to get a-squared to not remove the cookies of your favourite websites?
andsome
As I said above, I left out the Beta updates. These were obviously causing the problems.
