its definitly a great program

i have used it several times

i really like that they offer the package without installer, so you can even run it on computers where you cant install software [school]

but i never figured out if it also worked outside a network connection [lets say: from my computer to yours]

Yes I've done that...

Routers get in the way so the easiest way is to enable DMZ.
