Paint Shop Pro X1

Recommended Posts

Anyone who does a lot of photo editing - I have Artist(s) in mind - might find the latest version of Paint Shop Pro of interest.

My last version - PSP 9 - would work in Vista - but only with Aero turned off. Hence I upgraded and was glad I did because the new version is a radical improvement for old duffers like me. It has extra features (I have still yet to try them all) but scratch and spot remover is now so easy it is ridiculous. Colour, brightness, contrast, editing tools and graphics effects are now all much easier to understand and use because there is a sidebar which offers descriptions and help.

I also use Photoshop Elements 3 - but must admit my programme of choice will now be PSP X1
