I know you were having trouble with your installation previously so can you tell us how you made your Windows version genuine? Do you know for certain that it is properly installed without any malware?

-pops-
Malware includes things like viruses, trojans, spyware, adware and all the things that you don't want on your computer and may cause damage.
Kaos1337
Well, ive done a scanBut my Anti Virus Kinda Sucks.I Dont have any Actual anti virusAs its on my dads PC and i cant use the same CD Key twice obv.And i havent got round to buying any yetHave msn?I've deleted the email address you placed here. It is never wise to put email addresses on public forums like this - unscrupulous people use bots to search them out and use them for scamming. You can always use the forum PM system to contact people if necessary but, this should be done by invitation from the person you are contacting.Thanksprox. nellie2
I would check out CastleCops Malware Removal and Prevention if I were you. But if you have no anti virus or security programs running then my best guess is that your computer is infected and that is what's slowing you down
cozofdeath
Does this happen with any other players? If you don't have any other players try VLC.

cozofdeath
I would assume a driver (more likely) or Windows library file is causing it. From what I know VLC uses a mostly free codecs included with it so it can't be anything like that or with Windows being genuine. I'm guessing it happens with any format of video. What about audio? If not audio it could be a video driver. If audio is affected I would shutdown any antimalware/firewall and try to play a video. Then run the system file checker (Start, Run, type "sfc /scannow" -may need the Windows cd). That all I can think of.

Scarecrow Man
A Codec pack like K-Lite Codec Pack (not associated with Kazaa) should help you, Big Trag.It may also help you, Kaos. You can download the latest version here -> http://www.filehippo.com/download_klite_codec_pack/Another thing you BOTH will want to check, is that your DirectX is the latest version. http://www.microsoft.com/directx

I mean I never had an issue on my old mobo that held 2 gigs and I had 1.5 but this new one holds 4 and I still use 1.
