boater07
I only have the Office03 viewer installed, not the whole application. Windows auto update always tell me to download but the install does not work.I assume it has something to do with not actually having the application. Is there anything I can do to bypass the update reminders?
trackrat
Does the reminder come with the other XP updates, if it does open the control panel, then security and set the updates to manual, that way you can see the updates and decide what to install. Before everything was fine. The way I see it, windows detects the new office addition and wants to update it. I'm quite anamateur and all this is really above me.If I would have been able to read emails with word attachments, I would have never started this. andsome
You have posted the same question under two different headings. It is best to keep the question in only one forum to avoid confusion.HERE.
