ciprix
Today I was courious to find how permissions on files work so I've played with rights on a partition on my computer. First I activated the 'Advanced file sharing' option and I started to play with user rights on that partition. So I dennied all rights on that partition for all users including administrator. Now I can't access my D: partition as administrator and I ask you for help. If someone knows how to regain my rights on that partition please help me, it's urgent. andsome
Have you tried a System Restore, or do you have a back up in something like Acronis?
ciprix
yes I tried system restore and it tells me that "changes made to drive D: after this point cannot be reversed because the drive was either excluded from system restoring monitoring or was turned off or removed" so System Restore won't work for me. :(
Alan2273
Have you tried altering the permissions in safe mode.
