Autorun disabled

Recommended Posts

I like autorun, even if I have to go through the hassle of closing anything that opens when I don't want to. I play games, and I want install to begin as soon as I place a disk in the drive, or if already installed, the game to begin.

But autorun seems to have disabled itself both in my DVD-ROM and my CD-RW drives. The drive does rev up when the disk is inserted, but after that it doesn't start. Autorun is still an option when I right click the drive in Windows Explorer, and it will also run if I double-click on the drive. But I want it the way it was. What could be wrong, and how do I fix it?
