makelovenotwar
How is it that I am able to select the cookie blocker to block all cookies and it does nothing. I have selected the maximum security option for windows explorer and every time I restart explorer i have to re-select the option again.I have given up on explorer 7 and have moved on to greener grass in the form of Firefox i have no troubles with it what so ever. But i am still plagued by the never ending pop ups that explorer lets through I don't even have to have any internet browser open and these pop ups appear. It is extraordinarily frustrating when i have to close these pop ups every 30 minutes or so its not just the one it is several at one time.I use ad aware on a regular basis and i have a real time virus checker/ scanner so it is not some spy ware or tracker as i have covered my bases there.PLEASE someone help me i can not afford to lose any more time on this pitiful problem. How ever pitiful it seems it is costing me money and time. I would be grateful for any help big or small. Many Thanks in advance.Make Love not War or visitThirty4.com.au
Watchful
It sounds to me as if you may in fact have a gremlin or two.Try running Spybot S & D and do a thorough scan with your anti-virus programme.http://www.spybot.info/en/spybotsd/index.html
makelovenotwar
Thanks I have found a few more "germlins" than ad aware was able to detect. Once again many thanksMake Love Not War or visitthirty4.com.au
-pops-
You might also try out AVG AntiSpyware Free version click here, a-squared free click here and SuperAntispyware click here. You will often find that different antispyware programs pick up different things. I have about four installed on my machines and I do a routine scan once a week with one of them i.e. a scan with all of them is done over a four week period. If I suspect that something has arrived without my permission, I do, of course, carry out non-routine scans.
