Hi Mark

A discussion on this caused a little bit of agro on the PCA site. If I understood it right, the arguement seemed mainly to be about whether a virus could be activated when the delete key is pressed to get rid of the e-mail containing it (as was reported for this particular virus). I don't really know much about viruses or whether that's possible or not. What do you think? <_>

I saw part of that discussion too, but have not noticed a mention of that aspect in the 2 sites I've linked above. I'll have to have another look around see if I can find anything else.

However if the email is still on the server ie hotmail where most of the nasties will be targeted it shouldn't reach your comp as you can delete several files/emails at once HTH :D

your ok as long as you have the latest critical updates at w/update Users do not have to double-click on the attachment to become infected as the worm can exploit a security vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Outlook and Outlook Express.
