You dont mention which operating system or which browser you are using. Would also be nice to know if you have got a firewall running (type?), if you have got anti virus installed(type?) & have recently scanned for viruses/spyware/adware. Have you kept your anti-virus & firewall updated? A lot of those things could have a bearing upon your current situation. The more information you can give the better. How long has your computer been like this? Have you thought of System Restore as a solution to your problem?I'm sure someone will be along to help once you have answered the basics. Scarecrow Man
Spybot S&D and AVG Free Edition. Make sure to run updates, and a full scan with both.http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.htmlhttp://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=affYou can also have a look here. http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm Complete instructions are included on how to use it and what it does. You may need to download these files from a different computer if you are unable to connect to any websites. There's no place like 127.0.0.1 .... :)
