Guest whizwrinkly Posted January 11, 2003 Report Share Posted January 11, 2003 :) Well, it's nice to see the number of members going up but as a newcomer myself I dont know a lot about the site.I,ve picked up bits here and there about it being revived after a hacker or something. Just wondered how long the site had existed before, and how many members there were then?It's a great site, and I am gradually getting the hang of the toys. Ik it wasn't for northamuk and the shut down of PCA for a few days I would never have found it.One thing I do like, is the list of members on site at the time (handy if they owe me a few bob!) but what happens when there are 80,000? I sort of registered and stayed around and got promotion (no one else available :P )we were hacked :angry: :angry: just before christmas and back up and running on christmas eve :) :) The os by your name is just a different way of classing membership, rather than new member , junior member etc as it's a windows forum Craig went with windows os's Window 3.1, 95 and onwards.I've got to ME now but I do gabble on a bit :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Craig Posted January 11, 2003 Report Share Posted January 11, 2003 I have a plan when we reach 80,000 members.Instead of me paying for more bandwidth, i will use my members computers instead, a bit like Seti!That way it will cost me nothing and i will have loads of revenue from the ads.
