BriDawg159
I need to get into the windows recovery console, but I need the administrator password to do it, which I don't know. I found this online how to make windows recovery not ask for a password:Start | Run | RegeditNavigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Setup\RecoveryConsoleSet the DWORD SecurityLevel value to 1Will this really work? I'm skeptical about changing things in the registry, and I'm not very computer-savy. If anyone could confirm this, it be very much appreciated. Mike567
Seems to work, haven't tried it but after looking on google for a while looks like more than one person says it works.could always back up the registry files.

Not a place to dabble, unless you know what you are doing. ;) Some of the forum members are extremely knowledgeable. Try to wait for them to log in to the forum. :)
Alan2273
If you have not put a password in place just hit the ENTER button to proceed.
